Middle Madawaska at Madawaska Kanu Centre

Fun and friendly (often during the mid-week in summer) levels on the Middle Madawaska River are generally around 25 to 35 cms.
To determine the flows of the Upper Madawaska River near Whitney, as well as the Opeongo River, find the inflow level on the OPG Bark Lake Control Dam page and take that number and divide it by two, and give a bit more to the Upper Mad. A low level for the Upper Mad and the Opeongo rivers is around 30 cms.

The Lower Madawaska River is runnable at most levels. High water is about 80 cms and up. Fun summer levels are usually around 40 to 60 cms.
